JUST IN: Taraba Assembly Gets New Speaker

Majority Leader of Taraba State House of Assembly, Joseph Albasu, has emerged the new Speaker. 

Albasu, representing Bali 2 Constituency, emerged following the impeachment of Abel Diah on Sunday night. 

SaharaReporters had reported that Governor Darius Ishaku wanted Joseph Albasu to replace Abel Diah as Speaker.
