17-year-old sales girl raped to death in Edo
A tragic incident occurred on Monday October 7 at Uwasota Junction in Ugbowo community of Benin City, as a 17-year-old sales girl was found dead at a shop she works in.  The deceased whose head was covered with a black cellophane bag has been identified as Peace Onaiwu, it was also learnt that her panties was pulled aside suggesting she was raped to death.  The state's police spokesperson, DSP Chidi Nwabuzor confirmed the incident and further revealed that an arrest has been made after investigators at the homicide section of the state police command headquarters commenced an investigation.
