Why gospel is not that bad of music genre in Nigeria.

Many at times young people tend to venture into afro pop and any other afro style of music without giving gospel much of a thought and saying things like its meant for the old or most at-time that it is not profitable this is a case study on how you can make it work for you knowing that it is not bad of a music genre as people think of it with the following reasons.

   It is easier : if you are the type that read the Bible and ofcourse talented you will find it very easy to reference your songs to the bible and make good music.The holy book is open for you to copy from you might add you own terms to mnfake it spicy and make a better sound.

   Less competition : Dont get me wrong it it not a zero percent competition music genre but rather you cannot compare it to other popular music genre that many youths venture into in Nigeria so go become a gospel singer and become a king in it and thank us later.

   You can copy someone : It is only in Nigerian music industry will someone finish singing now and one month later another gospel singer comes out with the same song and only change the beat if they want to sometimes they dont even bother changing it instead just top up beat on an already existing song and calling it a new song. If you are lucky your song might get translated word to word with the same beat and the song will continue but we are not endorsing it but rather telling you what is optainable in the music genre.

   Lesser capital is needed : In gospel the have two types of beats one is the normal beat and the other is called chain were the same beat is stretched to like one hour depending on the singer thereby saving you money or discount on songs but that is not the one that takes the huge chunk in music production but rather video production unlike other genre that might cost you millions just to be of standard and to impress your audience in gospel there is nothing like that you can invite someone tht does burial video and shoot your video at a lesser price or even free using your relatives phone that has high pixel. Since your audience are not looking for impression you can easily get away with that and not have anybody complain.
