Recall some days ago, Busola Dakolo, the wife of singer Timi Dakolo and a talented photographer, had granted an interview to YNaija where she revealed that COZA pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo raped her.
According to Mrs Dakolo, Fatoyinbo raped her at the age of 17 in her mom’s home, a claim that has since gotten hundreds of women to bravely share their own story online.

‘An ex-boyfriend and a spiritual leader raped me’ – Bam Bam reveals
2018 BBNaija housemate Bam Bam has just revealed that she is also a rape victim.
According to her, she was raped by an ex-boyfriend and a spiritual leader.
Taking to her Twitter page, she recounted tweeting;
My heart has been heavy since this rape situation started. Like I feel physical pains in my heart. I’ve been truly sad and have never wished that justice be truly served to these heartless! insensitive! brutal! unrepentant rapists!!!
Cos I have been there, I know what it does to the mind and self esteem of the victim. It was with an ex boyfriend and a spiritual leader I trusted. Took me meeting another man who saw me for me before I healed completely. Sadly I couldn’t end up with him, but God used him.
Be kind to women, some men have been raped too. Truly be kind to people, you don’t know what true love and true transfer of kindness love and light can do to another person. I’m in tears as I type cos it hurts really bad just remembering and knowing how victims feel.
Cos when you take the body of another without their consent you mentally scar them too! Yo! I trust God and want to trust the law to do the needful!
I tried not to relate this to my personal self but when you hear experiences you lived, you become restless, memories hunt you. I have been refreshing all the updates on the movement/protest for tomorrow.
Something in my head keeps ringing would justice be served this time? Another is hoping and praying that it is truly SERVED rightly! I cannot overemphasize how a win for Busola will be victory for all! Lord help us all.
Such a sick perverted generation.
For the longest I didn’t realise I haven’t fully healed and mentally/emotionally dealt with what those events did to me. I repressed them. Repressed the memories shared with no one.
It’s important to surround yourself with kind people who listen and understand you. It helps to heal properly. And please don’t repress, prayerfully talk to the right people. I look forward to Nigeria having a functional rehabilitation center for victims of rape. #MeTooMovement

How My Codeine Addiction Nearly Got Me Arrested By SARS
How My Codeine Addiction Nearly Got Me Arrested By SARS This is a sponsored post.. People are drinking codeine in cartons! Cartons o! A recovering codeine-abuser, Nancy (not real name) shared her story with popular social media user @itsunclestephen. She sent a direct message (DM) to Uncle Stephen, explaining her experience with codeine addiction as a young University student in Yola State. Stephen had just shared his own experience with codeine too and he posted the story on his timeline as well. My addiction started by accident” she stated in the message. She had tonsillitis during the cold season and her boyfriend helped her get a bottle of codeine syrup to help with the flu. The cold had gotten so bad that she couldn’t speak without crying. After her first dose, she was “enveloped in this warm cloud, my senses were dulled - it's like I was floating somewhere; oblivious to whatever was happening around me.” She got better but addiction had kicked in as she still wanted to feel “numb and nice”. The syrup was extremely easy to obtain. Some of her friends had cartons of codeine bottles under their bed! Another scary part was that her addiction wasn’t noticeable - her grades were up, she was the VP of the Student Union in her school. Life seemed alright but she was so underweight that her tribalistic doctor suggested that she take an HIV test. He wanted to find out if the deadly disease was the reason behind her drastic weight loss. “My addiction continued for years. I decided to stop and withdrawal symptoms wanted to kill me. Sha, I struggled, on and off for years.”, she explained. Even when she graduated and got a job, she always had a bottle of a fizzy drink that was mixed with the syrup. She escaped SARS officers at various times when attempting to reach her dealer, who she described as “my guy at Zone 4. lol” Nancy admitted that she lived dangerously in order to feed her addiction. Getting out of the addiction was one of the hardest things for her, “I went cold turkey and it was one of the hardest things I had to do. I was throwing up all the time, my system was in shambles.” Yet, it was such a struggle after recovering, that she slipped a few times. She even gets panic attacks if she is within the vicinity of her former dealer’s location. Nancy has joined hundreds of Nigerians who are beginning to speak out about addiction and struggles. This is because of programmes like the MTN-led Anti-Substance Abuse Programme (ASAP), which is getting more young people to not only share their stories but to get other young people to listen and stay away from the many harms of drug abuse. Marriage as God invented and intended it By Reno Omokri
Marriage as God invented and intended it By Reno Omokri Read the piece on marriage by Reno Omokri below... A lot has changed about marriage ever since God invented it while man was in the Garden of Eden. God made marriage to be a simple thing, but ever since man fell from grace and left Eden, we have been adding our own rules to make what is the most simple institution one of complexity. If you study marriage from the book of Genesis to the book of Revelation, it bears no resemblance to what is being passed off as marriage in this day and age. There have been priests of God, from Melchizedek, to Jesus, our High Priest. None of them officiated weddings. But is that the case today? I have studied The Bible from cover to cover, multiple times and in various translations, and I have never once come across a marriage that was performed in a synagogue, temple or church by a priest. Biblical marriages happened in the home of the couples’ parents. 2 Timothy 3:16 says “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” Since this is the case, where does the inspiration for a White Wedding come from? Certainly, not from God’s Word. When I first taught on this, one of my followers told me that I was wrong because a priest in his church (name withheld) has told him that if he does not marry in church, the church would not recognise that marriage. My response to him was and is, why does your church have to recognise marriage for it to be valid? Who gave them that power and authority? And from whom and where does he get his doctrine from? From his Prost and his church or from his God and His Bible? The power of a PRIEST or PASTOR to pronounce a couple 'MAN and WIFE' comes from MAN, not from GOD. Read The Bible for yourself. It is God's letter to YOU. There is nothing like that in The Bible. Marriage is PURELY a FAMILY matter, not a CHURCH matter. It involves the couple and their parents ONLY. The first time marriage was mentioned in The Bible, it proceeded from God’s Mouth DIRECTLY. He said “Therefore shall a MAN leave his FATHER and his MOTHER, and shall cleave unto his WIFE”-Genesis 2:24. Jesus played NO PART in the MARRIAGE at Cana. He was invited as a GUEST. The only thing He did was turn WATER to WINE during the FEAST that FOLLOWED the WEDDING. If you want to justify CHURCH WEDDING, then couples should go to church with WATER for the PASTOR to turn to WINE. A lot of people are deceived by carefully crafted words. When a church uses the term 'marriage RITES', they are talking about RITUALS that are no better than voodoo RITUALS. CHURCH WEDDING is an unbiblical RITUAL. One of the worst thing in that EUROPEAN CULTURE passed off as BIBLICAL DOCTRINE is the use of the phrase 'for BETTER for WORSE, in SICKNESS and in HEALTH'. Do you know that is a CURSE? You are accepting an evil prophecy. God's testimony about you and your marriage is that "GOODNESS and MERCY shall follow you ALL (not SOME) the days of your life"-Psalm 23:6. You CONFESS your FAITH, not your FEARS. The truth is that many of these customs that we erroneously call Christian are in reality European customs that have over the years come to dominate Christendom. Nevertheless, no matter how far you have gone down a wrong route, you cannot get to your destination by going down that route. To show you how simple biblical marriage is, I will now break it down into the most elementary steps to make it easy to comprehend and then compare with Scripture. MARRIAGE according to The Bible. Step 1: Man approaches WomanStep 2: Man proposes marriage to WomanStep 3: Woman accepts proposalStep 4: They both tell their parents End of process! Every other thing, including CHURCH and REGISTRY is MAN MADE! The things of God are not EASY, but they are SIMPLE. The things of satan are EASY, but they are COMPLICATED. And I urge my readers not to take my word for it. Search the Scriptures. Be like The Berean Christians. This is what The Bible says about the Bereans: “Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.” Do this with me and what I have taught you here. Subject my words to a test of The Bible to see if they pass the test. Then take your own church’s doctrine and do the same to them. Remember what Jesus said in John 8:32: “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Reno’s Darts In 4 years, General Buhari has not built ONE school for Nigerian children. Please don’t take my word for it, Google it. He has not built even one hospital. Please confirm what I just said. Now, this man who has not built a school or hospital for Nigerians wants to build RUGA settlements for herdsmen NATIONWIDE! Majority of these herdsmen are not even Nigerians. Are we a conquered territory? Not with OUR MONEY.Not with OUR LAND.Not in OUR NIGERIA. Please join me to say #HerdsmenWontGetNigerianLandThe post Marriage as God invented and intended it By Reno Omokri appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.

“A Priest Almost Raped Me At 22” – Georgina Onuoha
“A Priest Almost Raped Me At 22” – Georgina Onuoha
Former Nollywood actress, Georgina Onuoha, turned medical personnel in USA has shared her view on the ongoing rape scandal between Busola Dakolo and Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo.
Georgina Onuoha, a single mother of two teenage girls revealed how she was almost raped my a Catholic priest at age 22.
Woke up to this and my heart sunk reading some of the commentaries by ignorant Nigerians. As developed as the United States is, rape victims still struggle to speak up knowing the backlash they will face and wondering if anyone will believe them or not.
For the miscreants questioning the timing of her story, I hope you understand the gravity of trauma most rape victims go through. Dear Nigerians and Christians, stop believing in your pastors, priests, and spiritual leaders. Take their preachings and evaluate their morals. Remember pastors are men and will always prey on the helpless, naive and vulnerable. Don’t trust no man or spiritual leader as a supreme being.
They are human and hence fallible. Being a man of God doesn’t mean they will not do their best to take advantage of you sexually, emotionally, financially and otherwise.
As a Catholic, I have witnessed first hand how those you love will cross boundaries to a point of wanting to sexually assault you.
Yes, as a young woman who acquired fame at a young age, these phonies will want to take advantage of you all in the name of wanting to guide you spiritually.
At age 22, a priest almost raped me unfortunately for him, I might have appeared naive and soften spoken boy was I raised Army strong with a warrior spirit. I told him not today and not never. I moved past that but not every woman has same fighting spirit. Some are damaged for life while others take a different path to self destruction because they can’t cope with the trauma they experience.
Don’t be quick to condemn a woman telling her painful story of rape and defend a Pastor you know nothing about. That they stand on that pulpit does not mean they are holy.
Many have the grace to minister but the flesh thrives on the power and authority they hold. Trust no pastor or priest with your wives, daughters and loved ones. Go to church listen to the gospel and go home and live according to Christ teachings. Stop worshipping your pastors. Stop venerating your priest.
Love them from afar and pray for them.
Lots of wolves in sheep clothings.
Spiritual leaders are suppose to give guidance and moral support to their community but most have become predators

Police intervention prevents Lagos residents from forcing an alleged kidnapper to drink 'Sniper' mixed with cement
Police intervention prevents Lagos residents from forcing an alleged kidnapper to drink 'Sniper' mixed with cement On Friday, angry residents of Otto in the Ebute Meta area of Lagos attempted to force a suspected kidnapper to take sniper and mixed cement. The suspect was reportedly found with a five-year-old girl but could not explain how he came about her during interrogation. The residents said they brought sniper and mixed cement for him to drink as a means of punishment. A local security guard in the area identified as Agbodemu Ishola said that it took the intervention of the police to save the suspect from being lynched.According to him,“some of the residents nabbed a young man who was with a five-year-old girl. He was a strange face in the community as nobody could say he or she knew him. When we interrogated him, he was not giving convincing responses. “He didn’t even know the girl before but he was seen playing with her. One of the residents raised the alarm and in few minutes, a mammoth crowd surrounded him. Of course, I am sure you know how populated Otto is.“We immediately called the security operatives, but before they came, some of the residents insisted on jungle justice but we had to stop them. Even the intervention and pleas from the Otto chiefs failed. When the security operatives came in about six patrol vehicles, the crowd kept shouting and throwing weapons. After much persuasion from Area C Commander, they relaxed.”When contacted, the Public Relations Officer of Lagos State Police Command, Elkana Bala, said he had not been briefed about the incident. The post Police intervention prevents Lagos residents from forcing an alleged kidnapper to drink 'Sniper' mixed with cement appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.

No law compels President Buhari to publish his assets â Itse Sagay
No law compels President Buhari to publish his assets â Itse Sagay Prof Itse Sagay (SAN), Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee against Corruption has revealed that President Buhari and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo have no obligation to publicly declare their assets. The professor in an interview with Punch stated that, 'as far as I know, there is no obligation to publish anybody’s assets declaration form. All that the constitution requires is that you fill in the form and submit it. There is no provision for such publication'. 'So, I don’t know the law that the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project wants to use in compelling the Code of Conduct Bureau to provide those details. I really don’t know. If the parties concerned do not voluntarily provide it, I don’t think there is any legal ground on which they can be compelled. This is because the law does not require it' he added. See more excerpts from the interview below...Would the President be willing to release details of what he declared based on his anti-corruption mantra?Yes, it can only be on the basis of a request, which, if he wishes, he can provide. I think they did that before. I read one last time when they took the oath of office in which the President and the Vice President publicly declared their assets. They did that; I remember clearly. Maybe it is for the second term they are talking about now but I don’t think they can get it through the law. They can’t get the President to publish his assets through the law. I would suggest, if they are so intent on getting it, this must be done through negotiation with the Presidency. That is the only way. They can persuade the Presidency for the President and the Vice President to release the statements of their assets. On the issue of anti-corruption, I don’t think a man like Buhari or Osinbajo needs a public declaration of their assets for the whole world to acknowledge that they are squeaky clean as far as integrity is concerned. It’s something that has been established for decades. Are you not taking Nigerians for granted by saying the President and the Vice President are distinguished men of integrity that do not need public declaration of their assets? But we know what they came into office with. I definitely saw that one four years ago when they came into office. But as I said, it’s a matter of conviction. Have they (SERAP) even addressed letters to the President and made a request to the President or Vice President on this matter before going to the CCB? If they have not, then, really they are putting the cart before the horse. There is no way they can legally acquire that information because it is not a required provision of the constitution. So, I think the best thing is to engage in a dialogue.SERAP is requesting the information using the Freedom of Information Act. What about that? The FoI Act makes provision not for declaration of personal assets, but for public matters. In this case, it is their private assets. I don’t think it extends to that. Otherwise, under the FoI Act, (you cannot) take a person to court to disclose how many children or how many wives he has or to provide other information about his life which he may not want to disclose. We must not carry it to a ridiculous extent. I don’t think the FoI Act extends to that sort of (disclosure). It is private assets. If you are talking of public matters, that is a different matter. What do you say to people who argue that their assets four years ago may have increased and will need to let Nigerians know the details? They don’t have to tell us. They have given the details in the asset declaration forms; that is the important thing. I remember the CCB people actually going to the State House to give the form to the President. They filled in the form and that is what the law requires them to do. Having done that, they’ve fulfilled all the requirements of taking office the second time. Any other thing now is an extralegal demand and I don’t think it is going to be successful in court. That is the point I’m making. I don’t think it will succeed. The post No law compels President Buhari to publish his assets Itse Sagay appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
Atiku and PDP appeal to Supreme Court, insist INECâs server contains results
Atiku and PDP appeal to Supreme Court, insist INECâs server contains results The Peoples Democratic Party and its candidate in the February 23, election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, have kept their vow to appeal the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal’s rejection of their request to access the “central server” which they alleged housed the results of the poll electronically transmitted by the Independent National Electoral Commission during the exercise. A four-ground notice of appeal has been filed by the petitioners, urging the Supreme Court to not only set aside the June 24, 2019 decision of the tribunal, but to also grant all their prayers “contained in the motion on notice dated and filed (before the tribunal) on May 8, 2019.” Shortly after the tribunal delivered the said ruling on June 24, 2019, the petitioners had, through two senior members of their legal team Chief Chris Uche (SAN) and Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN) vowed to challenge the tribunal’s decision at the Supreme Court. Processes seen by our correspondent on Saturday showed that the petitioners filed their notice of appeal on June 26, 2019 two days after the tribunal’s decision was delivered. The petitioners had, in their motion, which was dismissed by the tribunal, claimed that electronically transmitted the results of the disputed poll to the said central server. INEC denied the claim, insisting that it never transmitted the results of the polls any server whatsoever, but that the results were collated and declared manually. President Buhari and his All Progressives Congress, whose victory at the polls is being challenged by the petitioners at the tribunal, also opposed the petitioners’ request for access to the said INEC’s server. The post Atiku and PDP appeal to Supreme Court, insist INECs server contains results appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
Deportations of undocumented migrants to begin after July 4 - President Trump announces
Deportations of undocumented migrants to begin after July 4 - President Trump announces US President Donald Trump has said that the deportation of undocumented migrants will begin after July 4. “We will be removing large numbers of people starting sometime after July 4,” Trump said as additional report said that US Immigration authorities had earlier announced plan to launch a sweeping effort to deport recently arrived undocumented families. The operation is expected to target up to 2,000 families facing deportation orders in as many as 10 US cities, including Houston, Chicago, Miami and Los Angeles, according to a media report . A spokesman for the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement declined to comment, saying,“Due to law-enforcement sensitivities and the safety and security of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement personnel, the agency will not offer specific details related to enforcement operations before the conclusion of those actions.” The Acting Director of ICE, Mark Morgan, said the agency would target for deportation families that have received a removal order from a US immigration court. Morgan said ICE wanted to deport undocumented families who had recently arrived in the US to discourage more Central Americans from arriving. Trump had tweeted, before the formal kickoff of his 2020 re-election campaign, that ICE would begin removing “the millions” of undocumented immigrants in the US. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the country’s top Democrat, responded, saying, “The president’s new threat of a mass deportation dragnet is an act of utter malice and bigotry, designed solely to inject fear in our communities.”The post Deportations of undocumented migrants to begin after July 4 - President Trump announces appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.

Biodun Fatoyinbo Rape Scandal: President Buhari’s Aide Wants Police Investigation Into Busola Dakolo Allegation
Tolu Ogunlesi
Tolu Ogunlesi, a special aide to President Muhammadu Buhari on new media, says the Nigeria Police Force should investigate the rape allegations against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, the founder and senior preacher of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA).
Ogunlesi, who made the comment on Twitter, said the allegations should not be allowed to fizzle out just as an earlier allegation by Ese Walter, who in 2013 claimed that the pastor raped her.
Busola Dakolo, the wife of musician Timi Dakolo, had told YNaija in an interview how she was raped multiple times by Fatoyinbo when she was a teenager.
Fatoyinbo has denied the allegation and threatened to institute legal actions against Busola.
Tweeting about the alleged rape, Ogunlesi said: “This COZA matter needs to involve law enforcement o. This is no longer a matter for the ‘Church’ alone to deal with - not even sure said ‘Church’ has any appetite or willingness to deal with the issue. This matter calls for immediate Police/DSVRT investigation
“This appears to be a horrific and longstanding pattern of sexual abuse and rape. These allegations must not be allowed to go un-investigated, the way Ese Walters’ allegations were treated. Time also for COZA Board (if any) to step up - but that’s admittedly very unlikely.
“The story within COZA will be that this is an attack by the Devil, targeted at an anointed man of God, and which must be resisted. On account of this 99% of church members are going to take their Pastor’s side, by default. You can already see their arguments (and attacks) online.”

US Extradition: High Court Judge Threatens To Withdraw From Kashamu Case
Senator-elect, Buruji Kashamu
A judge of the Federal High Court in Abuja, Okon Abang, has threatened to withdraw from a suit brought by a former Senator for Ogun East district, Buruji Kashamu, to stop his extradition to the United States of America concerning drugs-related indictment.
The former senator wants the court to prevent the federal government from extraditing him to the US for a trial.
Abang, who claimed to have given judgment in two suits in 2015 on the same matter, said he threatened to withdraw from the fresh suit filed last year if it is related to the issue of extradition.
The judge’s reaction, on Thursday, came in the wake of an observation by a counsel representing the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Joseph Sunday, who drew the attention of the court, to the fact that he had in 2015, delivered two judgments on the extradition suit.
According to Sunday, those judgments had been set aside by Lagos court of appeal and that the appeal on the said judgment is before the Supreme Court.
However, the lawyer representing Kashamu, Ifeoma Esson, said the new suit of was not related to the previous judgments Abang gave in 2015, explaining that the suit at hand has to do with the unlawful invasion and siege laid to his client’s house for six days by operatives of the NDLEA.
She further told Abang that the current suit is challenging the violation of Kashamu’s fundamental right to dignity of person and freedom of movement.
Kashamu had in the second suit, FHC/ABJ/CF/530/2018, sued the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami and the NDLEA, urging that the two respondents should be stopped from extraditing him to the US.
Following the arguments of the parties, Abang judge adjourned the hearing of the substantive case until September 30.
