El'Vee are an Afropop duo, which consists of twin sisters Lilian and Vivian Nwaneho. They were born in Lagos, Nigeria and grew up in Reading, UK. Their love for music, drew them back and forth to Nigeria, and as independent artists, they have been opportune to work with renowned musicians like Don Jazzy, Sarz, Tiwezi just to name a few.
El'Vee worked as part of the entertainment company Coko Bar London, who were instrumental in putting Afrobeats music and artists on the map in the diaspora. Their love and passion for music brought them to the London Entertainment scene and working with A List African Artists such as 2Face, Wizkid, Don Jazzy and the now defunct Mo’Hits. They also auditioned for XFactor UK in 2008 and 2011 where they met Kelly Rowland, Gary Barlow etc. Although it didn't work out on XFactor, that did not deter them as they took the plunge to explore music, whilst developing their sound in Africa.
El'Vee released their debut single Oga Pata Pata in 2013, which was produced by Sarz ft Don Jazzy. Subsequently they took a hiatus from the music industry and returned to music in 2016, where they released Agenda, produced by Selebobo in January 2017 and also skillfully released the Afrobeats version of Dj Khaled's Wild Thoughts, to great acclaim.
Now the sisters release their new single ‘My Butter’: an up-tempo inspirational record which embodies strength in positivity, hope and belief in oneself. Butter in Nigerian culture is also a metaphor for good life and prosperity. Often personified as 'God has buttered my bread' meaning ‘God has blessed me bountifully’.

How would you describe the most articulate and energetic emerging rapper of his generation? All things considered “Intense yet cool” fits the bill nicely! Rap artist HOTYCE was born in Lagos but spent his formative years in Abuja before moving back to Lagos in 2016 after bagging a degree in Economics from the University of Abuja. This was around the same time he began rapping officially.
Although he started writing his own raps and making music just four years ago (2015), his ties with rap music goes way back. HOTYCE is the youngest in a family of seven and from the age of six his older brothers exposed him to all kinds of rap music. He began listening to hip-hop greats like Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg and developing from there. It was these influences that’s helped him develop as a rapper and artist.
More recently, HOTYCE also put himself through an exercise of weekly freestyles on social media which calls, the “Friday Night Massacre”. He says: “Every Friday from 2017 to 2018, I was dropping a new freestyle video on Instagram”. This not only helped him sharpen his skills, it also helped build a buzz and demand for his music - culminating in the release of his debut album in 2018 called “RedHOTYCEcold Vol1”.
Now, HOTYCE, doesn't show any sign of relenting by releasing a track which is a clear fan favourite: “REDLIGHT" - a six minute-plus,100% Heavy HIP HOP project featuring JESSE JAGZ, produced by EMMENO and mixed and mastered by Focus Ramon. So many factor play a role when it comes to being an A-Lister in the music industry not just in Nigeria but also in Africa or any where around the world where music lovers reside around the world but the major thing that gets people to any point they want is knowing what and what to implement which is the major reason why some very talented artists remain unknown while the less talented ones get to be very famous than the very talented ones that are very little known by fans or just perhaps think that the hand on the wall waits for anybody.
Understanding these few known fact should keep artists up on their feet and make them ever ready to implement whatever that is needed for them to excel in the music industry as long as it is something that is legal and of-course will work if well implemented.
So Below is what needs done for one to reach the A-Lister level.
1. Talent : Am sorry it came first but at least you should be talented enough to ever think of taking up music as a career full time unless you just want to try your luck by perhaps using the best producers, best software for fine tuning your voice and of-course a good song writers that will always be doing the writing for you any time you need to make a song but if you have the other needed thing except not having the song writing ability perhaps you can go ahead and get a good song writer.
2. A Good single: They say that a first impression matters a lot let the first single you release be good song not necessarily an instant hit that way you will create an audience that is dedicated to you and Hungary to here from you thats why some singer sing only one song and gives up and still gets remembered by their fans years later and are ever expectant of a new song from there favorite singer who they believe has what it take to make them happy with there song while some with more albums
get forgotten once they stop music.
3. Constant song Release : Nothing beats that once a good publicity is done during the release of the first single it makes the publicity of the other song less exhaustive than the first single thats the major reason why artists are advised to make full use of there chances that comes by to show off there single to there fans without which will still need the services of a good music publicist like us with a good budget will surely get the artist as far as they can go as the case maybe.
4. Good supporter or sponsor: Forget what you heard about how easy it is because you are not the only person singing you should always have that at the back of your mind that noting good comes

Staying Original: Just because you are now signed to a record deal or have gotten you first big break doesn't mean that you will now try to change your voice, dress code and things that make you original which is one of the major reasons artist gets to call their own lawyers while trying to sign a record deal to avoid signing a death contract and in other to have a better understanding between the two parties.

Emotions are an expensive asset in the entertainment industry for both the singer and that the actor and actress who tend to play up emotions of previously unknown individuals as part of a movie making process same goes with the singer who tends to portray other peoples emotions and feeling just to send a message out there.
It can sound slow for the rock and roll kind of music, it can sound sweet and sexy for the R&B kind of song, it can sound like a sermon for most Reggae kind of song or sound dance-able for most African pop music or pop in general or a little bit aggressive if its a rap song whereby the artist opens up all emotions without minding the consequences or the outcome of his lyrics.
Believe it or not it is a very important asset that when well incorporated can left up a spirit or spark up a brain that will change the world like Tupac will say in his lyrics (RIP to the him anyway) but thats not to say that other factors dont play a role in the creation of a good song or life itself as the case may be.
Perhaps being gifted and other things like being a good writer equally plays a major role in good song writing but the one of the best known facts is that the best periods of rappers or singers are when they are still Hungary and have so many factors fighting against them that one of the best things to do at that moment is to be their real self and focused to bring out their best product that is unheard of by humanity.
Due to the fact that they still listen to that special voice that sings beautifully in there ears that sole voice that triggers all the necessary lyrics needed for a hit song and the right pitch needed as well that ends up being an accepted an become known as there musical trademark just like every thing else in life.
Only a few exceptional one stay consistent and committed for a long enough time working in accordance to their musical dreams and not shifting away from what which made them what they are and for that reason the forces of nature stays true to them and still talk to them just like the most gifted of singer get their songs in a dream same with writers and if researched will find out that its a non existence song never to be sang unless the artist that is meant to deliver the message does so.
Same goes with the stubborn writers that refuse to write until they find out that its not an optional subject that can be neglected or pushed away.
These are the major reasons why some very Hungary artists with the right energy gets there on time before others and gets understood by the people that are meant to listen to the message unless they are stubborn and refuse to stay true and Hungary enough for more just like everything else in life with the right mindset and hunger and get to there proposed stage.
